Azoll was founded on the principles of changing the world for the better
Our founders, Elijah Duran and Leroy Latshaw came together to work towards incremental changes that could one day significantly impact the world. Leroy, a 21-year combat Army veteran, has seen first-hand what lack of clean water solutions can do to a community during his deployments.
In less developed countries, access to clean water is correlated with the community’s health. No access to a water source means a community struggling with water-related diseases. In developing countries, about 80% of illnesses are linked to insufficient water and sanitation conditions. These illnesses can devastate a community, similar to food poisoning, sickness caused by unclean water can cause lack of energy and constant nausea. This can leave adults unable to work and children unable to attend school. With few medical facilities at their disposal, these individuals are highly vulnerable to chronic illness, harming productivity and prolonging the cycle of poverty. When Leroy approached Elijah with this issue, the two quickly set to work. Through their entrepreneurial skillset, and interest in emerging blockchain technologies, they wanted to create a project that would help unite the world and show the true power of community, Azoll was born.
Azoll was formed to help distribute resources, provide the world with clean and sustainable water solutions for free. We want to decentralize clean water and allow everyone access to one of life’s most basic needs. By charging our clients for ad space, both digitally and physically, we can utilize advertisements as vehicle to redistribute resources and create real social change. Further, our cans are 100% recyclable, and each one we place on the market, we eliminate a plastic bottle from being used. Azoll will attempt to disrupt the traditional marketing and bottled water industries.
